New Coaching Pathway Launch, Register Your Interest

Wellbeing Mindfulness and Martial Arts is pleased to announce the launch of a new Coach Education and Development Pathway, designed to support members of our community to become qualified martial arts and Taiji coaches.

This new initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to improving health, wellbeing, and opportunity within the community, while developing the next generation of skilled, confident coaches.

What This New Pathway Offers

As an established coach education and training provider, we are creating a clear and supported route for individuals who wish to progress into coaching. Participants who successfully complete the required practical training and supervised delivery with us will be able to gain governing body–approved coaching qualifications.

This pathway focuses on real experience, good practice, and long-term development, not just short courses. Trainees will work alongside experienced coaches, gain practical teaching hours, and receive guidance throughout their journey.

Who Can Take Part

We are inviting expressions of interest from:

  • Individuals already training in martial arts or Taiji
  • Young people and adults interested in coaching or wellbeing work
  • Community members looking to develop new skills or career pathways
  • Those wishing to volunteer or progress into paid coaching roles

No previous coaching qualification is required. Commitment, reliability, and a genuine interest in supporting others are essential.

Benefits for Participants

Those taking part in the pathway will benefit from:

  • Structured coach education aligned with recognised governing bodies
  • Supervised practical coaching experience
  • Ongoing mentoring and professional support
  • Increased confidence, leadership, and employability
  • Clear progression into community, school, and wellbeing programmes

Participants will be supported not only during training, but as they continue to develop as coaches.

Positive Impact on the Community

This initiative also strengthens the wider community by:

  • Expanding access to wellbeing and physical activity programmes
  • Developing local coaches who understand local needs
  • Supporting children, young people, adults, and families
  • Creating sustainable, community-led opportunities

By training and supporting local coaches, we ensure our programmes continue to grow in a safe, inclusive, and meaningful way.

Register Your Interest

We are now collecting expressions of interest for this new coaching pathway. Registering your interest allows us to share further details, timelines, and next steps as the programme develops.

If you are passionate about wellbeing, martial arts, Taiji, and making a positive difference in the community, we warmly encourage you to get in touch.

Together, we can build skills, confidence, and stronger communities through mindful movement and martial arts.
